Call for Applications: Summer School in Zimbabwe

The Department of Economic History is co-organising a summer school in quantitative methods in African economic history for early-career PhD holders and post-graduate students based at universities in southern Africa.

In collaboration with the Young Scholar Initiative and the University of Zimbabwe, the Department of Economic History is organising a “summer” school in quantitative methods in African economic history for early-career PhD holders and post-graduate students based at universities in southern Africa. The summer school will be held at University of Zimbabwe in Harare from January 9 to 13, 2023.
Facilitators for the summer school are Professor Gareth Austin (Cambridge University), Associate Professor Karin Pallaver (University of Bologna), Associate Professor Erik Green (Lund University), Post-doc Calumet Links (Stellenbosch University) and PhD Ushehwedu Kufakurinani (King’s College London).
Submissions should be sent to Erik Green no later than October 31, 2022.
