Excel for Economists
Welcome to LUSEM Career Services’ two-day course that will teach you the fundamentals in Excel.
Do you feel that you need to improve your skills in Excel?
Managing Excel is something that both facilitates your studies and also makes you more attractive to employers.
After this course, some of the things you will have learned are:
- Data & Formatting
- Formulas & Functions
- Charts & Data analysis
- Tables & Pivot tables
- Security & Sharing
- Use real-life data (from SCB) to draw empirical conclusions
The course consists of two classes and you have to be able to attend both dates in order to get a spot:
- 1 March at 13:00-16:30 in room EC3:206 (computer room)
- 5 March at 13:00-16:30 in room EC3:206 (computer room)
You sign up for the course in MyCareer. The 30 available spots will be released on 23 January at 09.00.
Please note that this course is best suited for students in their first year of undergraduate studies.
If you complete both course sections and do the assignments, you will receive a course certificate.
Bring your own computer just in case there is a problem with the computers in the computer room.
